Financial Planning: A Dynamic Map

A financial plan is the cornerstone of a healthy financial life. Think of a financial plan like a dynamic Google Map...helping you to navigate and make good decisions, and even “re-routing” when facing unexpected circumstances.

Although there is a common misconception that financial planning is only for the extremely wealthy, most everyone can benefit from some basic financial planning. That’s why the WELLth team recently hosted a live education event to introduce ‘Financial Planning 101.’ Click here to view the replay in case you missed it!

During the session, participants learned about the ‘Four Pillars of Financial Planning’: Building, Managing, Preserving, and Transitioning. In addition, attendees were given a copy of the SRP Financial Organizer and Document Checklist. Most importantly, the connection between values, goals and priorities and day-to-day financial actions was emphasized.

Even if you don’t have a financial planner, you can easily employ some of the financial planning concepts we shared during the live event. But maybe you’d prefer to partner with a professional to help you map out your financial life and strategically plot your path forward.
